Vashini is rooted in four generations of agricultural legacy. We — a team of engineering graduates — decided to honour that legacy, step away from our corporate careers and take Vashini from being local farmers to global growers and exporters.
The aim was and is to grow the best bounty on our farms and deliver the highest quality produce all over the world.

1996
Vashini comes into the world, set up by our founder Mr. Muruganandam. We begin operations within India.
2010
Vashini takes its operations global with its first coconut shipment to the UK.
2012
Becomes India's only exporter of mature coconuts to EU countries, including the UK and Spain
2013
Receives the Global Gap Certification for safe and sustainable farming practices.
2016
First coconut farm in the world to receive the Fair for Life certification for responsible supply chains.
2020
Introduces IQF coconuts to the global market and creates new SKUs with frozen coconuts.
